2016 St Clair County Road Commission Lightweight Bridge Deck Project  EGLE Scrap Tire Grant Program provided half the cost - or $33,176 -- of the $70,352 project, which used an estimated 130 scrap tires.  Project partners:  St Clair County Road Commission  Recycling Infrastructure Solutions (RIS)  Three bridges utilizing MDOT approved epoxy resin along with recycled aggregate of crushed glass and poly fiber crumb rubber.  Comstock Road  Norman Road  Griswold Road  Use of 190 cubic feet of crushed glass for every 1,000 square yard replaced. Estimated savings of $6,000 for landfill costs of glass alone. 11/1/2021 73
